Our Catalogue for the 12th January sale is now available for inspection at www.traffordbooks.co.uk where clients will be able to browse through 237 Lots of Books, Ephemera, Postcards, Stamps and Postal History. The auction commences with a Book & Ephemera section of 54 lots and features books signed by Alan Turing and Mark Twain, a first edition of Geoffrey Parker's "The Black Scalpel" inscribed by the author, an 1844 edition of Dickens' "A Christmas Carol", and good Ephemera with collections of Bookplates, Mariitme items and Advertising interest. This is followed by 16 lots of Postcards with good UK & Foreign topography & subject cards, and an extensive section of 166 lots of Stamps and Postal History with many mixed lots and country collections including a valuable collection of Spain and good French Colonies. Bids may be submitted by using our on-line bidding facility, in writing to our address, or by telephone on 0161-877 8818. Our telephone system enables us to accept calls on a number of devices all via the same phone number. When calling you may be placed in a brief "queue". Please hold and we will connect you. All bids must be received by 12 Noon (BST) on Wednesday 12th January. Lots are available for viewing by appointment.
